SISU_Actual, (Symposium of Interior Architecture and Spatial Design)

The focus of SISU 2019_Actual was on the physical presence of our craft. We investigated strategies for spatial intervention, making, and production through educational practices that combine direct engagement and participation in the creation of physical space. The three-day symposium was split in half between workshops and lectures, that took place alternately, supporting and inspiring each other. Some of the lecturers/tutors included RLOALUARNAD, Daniel Zamarbide from BUREAU & Alice EPFL, Pavle Stamenovic from Raster Collective, Niki van der Ploeg from Envisions, Elena Khurtova and Marie Ilse Bourlanges, sculptor Karsten Födinger, philosopher Jyrki Siukonen, and musician Jimi Tenor.
